Recently, HyperStrong has achieved remarkable milestones in the European energy storage market, with the successful commissioning of its frequency regulation project in Stockholm, Sweden, and the energy storage power station project in Waltershausen, Germany. Leveraging its cutting-edge system solutions and efficient project execution, HyperStrong is driving robust momentum for Europe's energy transition.
Sweden Frequency Regulation Project: Pioneering the Nordic Market
In May 2024, HyperStrong launched the Stockholm Frequency Regulation System Project, providing grid-side frequency regulation services. Despite the complex multi-stakeholder communication structure, HyperStrong streamlined project execution by establishing a unified communication platform and clarifying points of contact for all parties, leading to successful project acceptance in March 2025. This project not only marked HyperStrong’s breakthrough in the Swedish market but also solidified a long-term partnership with the client, with additional energy storage orders now in the process of delivery and commissioning.
Waltershausen Energy Storage Power Station: A Milestone in Deepened Collaboration
In May 2024, HyperStrong secured the supply contract for the Waltershausen Energy Storage Power Station in Germany. Demonstrating exceptional efficiency, the team completed project delivery by December of the same year and supported the successful grid connection in March 2025. Equipped with HyperStrong’s flagship large-scale energy storage solutions, the project delivers high-performance capabilities that enhance grid-side energy storage participation in electricity trading. This success establishes a benchmark for HyperStrong in the German market and lays a solid foundation for future projects of similar scale.
One-Stop Service: Simplifying Processes, Boosting Efficiency
In both projects, HyperStrong provided an integrated "DC + AC" system solution and led the joint commissioning of hybrid systems. "Our one-stop service eliminates the need for clients to coordinate with multiple parties, significantly simplifying project workflows, improving implementation efficiency, and delivering unparalleled convenience," said Xu Jianfeng, Senior Vice President of Engineering for HyperStrong EMEA.
Looking Ahead: Advancing Energy Transition Through Innovation
The successful operation of the Stockholm and Waltershausen projects not only enhances local grid stability but also enriches HyperStrong’s expertise in the European market. Moving forward, HyperStrong will continue to deepen its local presence, using technology as its pen and projects as its ink to write a new chapter in regional energy transformation—contributing wisdom and strength to the global energy revolution.
